How to Print Headings on Every Page in Excel
Sometimes you may need to print same column headers on every page in Microsoft Excel. And to do so, you dont need to manually copy the headers on every page. You can simply set a command from page setup option to print column headers on every page automatically!
In my previous post, I discussed about how to lock or freeze column headers. By freezing rows or columns, you can just show headers at the time of scrolling. But they will be printed on the first page only. In this tutorial, you will learn - how to print same column headers on every page automatically . . .
Applies to:
- MS Excel 2000/ XP
- MS Excel 2007/ 2010/ 2013
Note: This tutorial has been prepared using Excel 2013. So, few options may differ slightly.
Lets start -
- Open a previously saved worksheet or create a new one in MS Excel.
- Go to the Page Setup option from Page Layout Tab (Office XP/ 2000 users should find it under Edit Menu).
- Go to the Sheet tab from Page Setup.
- Look at the Print titles option: Rows to repeat and Columns to repeat.
- To repeat the headers at the top, click on the first one. Or click on the second one to repeat the columns.
- After clicking the box, select the area of your sheet which needs to be repeated. Follow the image below.
- Hit OK to close the Page Setup. Done! Now check by printing or look at the print preview.
Here I showed the process for rows only. You can also choose columns to repeat by the same way. And Ive also uploaded a same sheet for you. Download the sheet from the link below:

Open the above sheet. You will find a worksheet named Rows to Repeat. Ive set top 3 rows to be repeated on every page. You can directly check it by printing this two-page worksheet. Or simply check it in Print Preview.

Create an Official Facebook Page for Website Person or Place
Facebook Fan Page is a very common way to communicate with public. Almost all major organizations, websites, places or brands have their own Facebook page. You can also create a Facebook page for your business, blog or website. This is very easy and free of cost!
To create a Facebook page go to the link below. Before that make sure youre signed in to your Facebook account.
Create a Page
There are six types:
- Local Business or Place
- Company, Organization or Institution
- Brand or Product
- Artist, Band or Public Figure
- Entertainment
- Cause or Community
Select any of the types which is suitable for you. Then choose your page category and give it a name. Agree with the terms and conditions and hit on Get Started.
Now do the followings:
- Set a profile picture
- Give a description of it
- Set a Facebook address
- Enable Ads or Skip it
Now your page is almost ready. Invite your friends to like it. Try to build audience. You will find several options to build audience and to invite friends to like it.
Keep posting for the audience. Post only necessary contents. So that people find it useful. It will help to grow the page quickly. Never abuse it.

Google Home Page is Getting Changed!
The search giant Google may change their home page! Google named this project as Google Now. The new screen will look like iGoogle. Users will have the choice to select the gadgets that they want to be appeared on the screen. And Google has already announced that the iGoogle will not be available after November 01, 2013.
Actually Google is trying to compete with Facebook. Facebook is so popular that Google cant beat it even after having a large number of product and service categories. People are continuing to increase their time on social networks. To catch the peoples attention, Google launched the Google plus two years ago. At the beginning, it seems that Google Plus will be able to knock down Facebook. But reality was quite different. Still Google is trying to improve their service quality. Maybe the new project, Google Now, is a part of this effort.
If the new home page, Google Now, is launched then it will be look somewhat like yahoo. Yahoo home page shows different types of gadgets- Sports News, Weather, Political Issues etc. The new homepage of Google will include different types of information at the home page. And users will be able to add or remove cards as they like. This will be the basic difference between Google and Yahoo Homepage.
Google is now working to introduce this new service in Android Phones and Chromebook Pixel.

Actually most of the users of Google dont like to use iGoogle. It is less popular because of delay in loading the page. And it is relatively complicated too. As a result, Google is going to stop the iGoogle within this year. And trying to promote the new service- Google Now.
But introducing such a service at the home page may be a great risk for Google. Because most of the people are used to search information at Google Home Page. People like fast loading sites. When the new screen appears, it will not be as usual as we want. In that case, Google may loose its popularity as search engine! And it could be a great opportunity for bing.
As a precautionary measure, Google can let people choose whether they want to see the new look or old. But Im quite sure more than 70% people will be choosing the old look. Because most of the people use Google for searching information. And when they will see the new look, they will feel bore.
Google should launch the new screen in such a way so that it never bother the users. If Google forces users to continue with the new look, it will loose popularity as a search engine.

Measure Your Sites Speed with Google Page Speed
Page speed is an important factor to increase the traffic of a site. Survey shows that most of the people ignore the sites that takes more than 3 seconds to load. Though the loading time depends mostly on the net speed. But excessive use of flash, JavaScript, Images can down the speed of any page even on a fast network.
In this post Im gonna tell you how can you measure your sites speed. There are several methods. As a standard way, Im talking about Google Developers.

- Visit this page- Page Speed.
- Now type your sites URL in the box (ie. http://munnamark.blogspot.com) and hit the analyze button.
- Within few seconds you will get the result as below:

With this report, you will get some tips about how to optimize your sites loading time. Here are some tips to speed up your side:

How to Add Page Number on Blogger Blog
By default your blogger blog doesnt have any numbered page navigation system. Instead of it the usual themes provide Newer Post, Home and Older post to navigate the site. But it will be very convenient for the visitors to navigate your site, if you place a page number navigation system at the bottom of your contents!
In this post Im gonna share a code with you. And this can turn your old navigation system into numbered navigation system! Hope this will help you lot.
It is as easy as adding a gadget. All you need to do is just add an HTML or JavaScript Gadget. Just follow the steps below:
- First go to www.blogger.com and open your dashboard.
- Then go to your blogs layout option.
- Now click on Add a Gadget.
- Here youll find a list of gadgets. Scroll down and select HTML/ JavaScript gadget.
- Now copy and paste the following code in the gadget box.
- Now save the gadget and refresh your blog to see the result!

Customization of this Code: You can customize the above code as below.
- var numshowpage=10; here 10 is the number of pages will be shown. You can use 8, 12 or any number you want.
- var postperpage =7; here 7 indicates how many posts will be shown per page. Normally blogger blog shows 7 posts per page. If you wanna increase or decrease the number of posts per page then go to Settings > Post and Comments > Show at most (choose the number you want) > Save settings.
- var upPageWord="Previous"; var downPageWord="Next"; the words Previous and Next are the words that will be shown before and after the page number. Actually you dont need to change the word. But if you wanna use other language then you can do this.
