Android 4 2 Update JOP40C for GSM Galaxy Nexus Pushing
Android 4.2 Update JOP40C for GSM Galaxy Nexus Pushing , Google will start selling the Android 4.2 OS powered Nexus 4 handset and Nexus 10 tablet today on Google Play Store and it looks like Google wasted no time and has officially flipped the switch on the release of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphones. According to the users reports on Twitter and Google+, the new Android 4.2 software update has hit Apple’s servers and is propagating now to the GSM Galaxy Nexuses only. Sorry, no luck for Sprint and Verizon connected CDMA GNexus phones yet. The new firmware bumps the build number up to JOP40C.
Android 4.2 build will carry Photosphere support with 360 degree panorams, improved Google now, Gesture Typing (which is similar to the popular Swype keyboard app), new Clock app, a new screensaver called Daydream, and various other improvements and you can use two fingers or the button at top right of the notification area to access quick settings. Users won’t be able to initially benefit from the much talked about multi user support, which won’t be the part of this Android 4.2 build. And there’s a Triple-tap support magnification which “works everywhere except the keyboard and navigation bar.”
If your rocking a GSM capable Galaxy nexus, and want to check to see if the update has already begun rolling out, you can do so by heading into Menu > Settings > About phone > System updates. Don’t forget to tell us how the update is working for you.

Still remember Project No. 30 that shows how the drawing of a half apple can be done in MS Word? Now you have learned how to draw a tangerine, right? Why not use these two drawings to create a still life composition that can be mounted on the wall. Please refer Project No. 32 for information on how to mount a piece of artwork for display. Art teachers can make use of this activity to teach composition and balance. In a visual art composition, elements, subjects or images are arranged in a given space such as the space on a piece of drawing paper resulting in a visually balanced work. The principles of design are used to help achieve unity in the overall composition and thus creating a quality work of art. Knowledge in Basic Design or Visual Art Theory has its advantages because it enables the artist to explain in elaborate details about his or her work of art. That is why the topic of Art Appreciation is also taught in Art Class.

(A) HOW TO DRAW THE PICTURE?
First, draw a portion of the heart shape. Then, duplicate it and flip it horizontally. Join the two portions and you’ll get a full heart shape. I once drew a cow head in Adobe Photoshop using the same principle. To create a full heart shape, cover the broken area with an Oval shape and then do the following: Format > Shape Outline > No Outline. If you break someone’s heart, you make someone you love or someone who loves you feels very sad. Try not to do that, it’s bad.
(B) HOW TO CREATE THE EFFECTS?
There are some new features in MS Word 2007 that I find useful for creating attractive visual effects to drawing objects. Adding effects can enhance the illustration. In the Shadow Effects group, select the shadow styles of your choice to create the desired effects. I made use of Shadow Effects to create the emboss effects for the drawing objects in this project. This is what I meant by improvising.
Here are the steps on how to create the visual effects for this illustration:
(a) Format > Shape Fill > Red > Gradient > Dark Variations > Linear Right.
Shadow Effects > Additional Shadow Styles > Shadow Style 18.
(b) Format > Shape Fill > Red > Gradient > Dark Variations > Linear Right.
Shadow Effects > Additional Shadow Styles > Shadow Style 18.
(c) Format > Shape Fill > Light Blue > Gradient > Light Variations > Linear Up.

It is durian season now and there are many durians being sold at the roadside stalls and markets. Durian trees do not bear fruit throughout the year. At the peak of the season when there is an abundant supply of the fruit, they are sold at a much cheaper price. Here is another example of a pattern design using two different images. The design is used to decorate an apron. I have applied the principle of variety to this design by incorporating two different images in it. Adding the principle of variety to the design, which is one of the aspects in Basic Design Principles, makes it look more interesting. Remember the movie posters that are displayed at the cinemas? Do you know that a movie poster is actually designed with a montage of images taken from various scenes in the movie? A movie poster has the ability to grab our attention from the first look and also able to convey the message effectively. Such results are made possible with the application of Basic Design in the graphic design process.
This apron has a pattern design on it. Warm and cool colours were used to create a contrasting visual effect in the design.

Android 4 1 2 update now seeding to Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus
Following the footsteps of the Google Nexus 7, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S got their own treatment of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The 15.1MB update is currently seeding to GSM/HSPA versions of both smartphones over the air.
The update is a minor improvement over its predecessor. It includes the usual performance and stability fixes. Landscape mode however, will remain reserved for the Google Nexus 7.
